We are building a New Aviation Museum in the center of Vantaa’s developing Aviapolis district. The Museum is to be an inspirational attraction of the developing area, a living room for locals, a national expert and a meeting place for the aviation industry.

The implementation of the New Aviation Museum is advancing by leaps and bounds. The planning work is being carried out in multidisciplinary working groups and through inspiring workshops. The tendering process for the construction contractor and designers is also underway. The dream of a new and experiential aviation museum is thus several steps closer to realization!
The New Aviation Museum is being built with funding from the state, the city, and private sources. The total budget is 25 million euros. Private funding will enable the exhibitions, services, as well as the relocation and storage of the collections. For this purpose, our goal is to raise an additional 5 million euros for the project. So, we still need more money for the common pot.

Incorporating all of this into one building, its functions, and services requires comprehensive expertise.
