Need a different kind of venue for a company event? Or are you interested in joining Aviation Museum’s partner network?
For companies

How about a meeting in aviation-themed environment?
The Finnish Aviation Museum is known for its excellent customer service and unique event environment: Have you ever sat in a 200-seat auditorium made from Boeing airplane seats? Or held a meeting with your 25-person team under aviation-themed art? All our corporate services, including catering, can be booked on weekdays via email at info@ilmailumuseo.fi or by phone at 044 236 1984 between 10–12, and 13–15. Contact us, and we’ll tailor a museum experience to your wishes!

Team building or TYHY at inspiring aviation environment?
Would you be interested in a Team building day, TYHY day or such with good food, an inspiring ‘history of air travel’ guided tour, and/or a simulator flight? Our tours have been praised for their extensive aviation expertise, and perhaps your company is also linked to aviation history in one way or another? The traditional highlight of the TYHY day has been the simulator flight: Do you dare to challenge your colleagues to take the controls of a fighter Messerschmitt, or will you fly together under the guidance of an experienced pilot?

Product launch, mini-fair or Media event at different kind of venue?
You can also organize media events, mini-expos, or product launches at the Aviation Museum. Our auditorium is adorned with the original Erik Bruun’s Eagle wall painting and has seating for 200 people made from Boeing airplane seats. Contact our customer service, who will be happy to help you create a memorable corporate event in an aviation-themed environment.

“Inspiring venue, delicious food and kind customer service. Thank you Finnish Aviation Museum for organizing successful Team building day for us!”

Our Café Yläpilvi also serves corporate customers
A warm welcome to the Finnish Aviation Museum’s very own Café Yläpilvi. The café is open during the museum’s opening hours and offers a wide selection of both savory and sweet items, as well as home-cooked lunches on weekdays. Special diets are also well catered for. We strive for sustainability in our café selection and use local bakeries and small businesses as our partners.
For larger groups and parties, it is also possible to tailor catering to suit your visit. The café is also licensed to serve alcohol. Inquire about catering for meetings, parties, and groups on weekdays via email at info@ilmailumuseo.fi or by phone at 044 236 1984 between 10–12, and 13–15.
Our café often hosts themed events, where our selection can reach new heights – the sky’s the limit. Welcome to taste!

Partners – we collaborate with various companies and associations
Since 1972, the Finnish Aviation Museum has established partnerships both within and outside the aviation industry.
We have several long-term partners and in the recent years, we have been delighted to start collaborating with companies outside of aviation field too.
We also operate through our rich network of partners during annual events; for example, our popular children’s event included over 30 partners. Welcome to join our partner network!

We operate internationally
The Aviation Museum is an international expert in Finnish aviation history, maintaining and promoting international relations in its field (e.g., through Erasmus+ exchanges). The museum is a community member of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) and the International Association of Transport and Communications Museums (IATM), and its experts participate in international conferences and meet foreign colleagues annually.
The museum has been involved in establishing the Network for Aviation Museums under CIMUSET, the ICOM committee for science and technology museums. In 2024, the museum showcased its activities and Finnish aviation history to the Korean museum audience in a joint project with the National Aviation Museum of Korea (NAMOK). Four presentation videos were filmed as part of the project, which can be viewed on the museum’s YouTube channel.
The International Aeronautical Federation (FAI) will hold its general assembly in 2025 at Aviapolis in Vantaa. The Aviation Museum will serve as one of the event venues – We warmly welcome all participants to the Aviation Museum in October!
