Field Officer Safety Footwear at Helsinki-Malmi Airport

The black boots feature an orange-red, ribbed, anti-slip sole, a reflective strip on the shaft, and pull loops to assist with putting them on. The footwear includes an aluminum toe cap and a steel puncture-resistant midsole. Some of the field officers at Malmi Airport were trained in firefighting duties, so they were equipped with rescue gear. Malmi Airport has had a rescue equipment storage facility since the early days of the airport.
