Customer
The customer agrees to comply with these terms and conditions when purchasing products and services from the Finnish Aviation Museum’s webshop.

Ordering

General Terms

  • The prices shown in the webshop include VAT.

  • We sell products to individuals of legal age and to corporate customers.

  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time.

  • The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.

  • We reserve the right to change our delivery terms. Customers must review the current delivery terms before placing an order.

Delivery Terms

Formation of the Contract

  • A binding contract is formed when the order is confirmed (order confirmation/payment confirmation).

  • The order confirmation/payment confirmation is sent to the customer via email.

Cancellations and Returns

  • Online shopping has a 14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act. Goods: The 14-day withdrawal period begins upon receipt of the goods. The customer has the right to cancel the contract even before the goods are delivered.
    Services: The 14-day withdrawal period begins as soon as the service contract is concluded.
  • Cancellation notification must be made using the Cancel order button at the bottom of the page or by email: asiakaspalvelut@suomenilmailumuseo.fi for a refund. Note! Delivery fees are not refundable.
  • The customer must return the goods no later than 14 days after submitting the cancellation notification. The customer is responsible for the usual costs of the return and the transport risk.
  • The merchant may withhold the refund until the goods have been returned.
  • If the customer uses the goods during the withdrawal period and the value of the goods decreases due to use, the customer is responsible for the decrease in value of the goods. In this case, the merchant may deduct the decrease in value of the goods from the amount to be refunded. If the goods have become unsellable due to use, the merchant may refuse to refund the amount paid in full.
  • Shipping and return costs will be charged for packages not collected and returned to the Merchant.

Defective or Damaged Product in Transit

  • A defective or damaged product must be reported to our customer service immediately, and no later than 24 hours after receipt. Contact us via email or phone (Mon–Fri 10:00–12:00 and 13:00–15:00) at 09 8700 870.

  • The Merchant will primarily replace the defective or damaged item with a new, similar product. If this is not possible, the full purchase amount will be refunded.

  • The defect or damage must be clearly specified and appropriately documented.

  • The defective or damaged product must be returned to the Merchant for inspection.

  • The Merchant will not issue a replacement or refund until the defect or damage has been verified.

Product Warranty

  • We comply with the warranty terms provided by the product’s manufacturer or importer.

Delivery

  • Delivery costs include postage and packaging. Delivery costs can be reviewed after selecting the payment and delivery method in the shopping cart.

  • Please note: Our delivery fees are primarily intended for consumer customers. Retailers or customers placing bulk orders should contact the Finnish Aviation Museum’s customer service to arrange an order:

Payment Terms

  • The Merchant uses reliable and secure payment processors.

  • The Merchant does not store bank account or credit card details at any time.

  • The customer can choose Klarna as the payment method and Klarna offers the detailed payment terms. For more information or questions about payment, please visit Klarna’s website.
  • The customer agrees to comply with the terms and conditions of the selected payment method.

  • If the payment transaction is not successfully completed at the time of ordering, the Merchant will not process the order.

Other

  • We reserve the right to amend our delivery terms. The customer must familiarize themselves with the valid delivery terms before placing an order.

Payment Service Provider

Paytrail Oyj serves as the payment intermediary and service provider in collaboration with Finnish banks and credit institutions and is an authorized payment institution. Paytrail Oyj will appear as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement and will forward the payment to the Merchant.
